Hunter Mathews is a New York-based fine art documentary analog photographer who specializes in form and light.
Mathews draws from memory, the natural world, and paintings. She utilizes darkroom techniques and other archival
processes to reinforce her vision. She captures the raw beauty she experiences, as she experiences it,
taking the viewer on a journey through her life: the mundane and extraordinary. She sees her life through a lens
and records it as she lives, shot by shot, producing a sequential series of works.
